Delete Account – Today’s Happy Incident

If you want to delete your THI (Today’s Happy Incident) account and all associated data, you can request deletion at any time.

We will process your request within 30 days, and all your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems.

How to Request Account Deletion

Send an email to:

Subject: Account Deletion Request

Please include the following in your message:

1. The email address associated with your THI account
2. A short confirmation that you want your account and all stored data deleted

Example:

“I request deletion of my THI account and all associated data. My account email is: [your email]”

What Data Will Be Deleted?

When your request is processed, we delete:

• Your THI account
• Your THI journal entries
• Your avatar settings
• Your profile data (name, preferences)
• Any optional photos you added
• All usage data linked to your account

What Data Might Be Retained Temporarily?

For security and legal compliance:

• Server logs may be retained for up to 30 days
• Payment history (if applicable) may be retained by Apple/Google, not by THI

THI does not sell user data and does not retain data beyond legal requirements.
